[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Newly established fine leather fashion house, Tahlia Leather made their sparkling debut on Thursday the 16th of November in a chic collaborative event with Kris Turnbull. An afternoon of catwalks, canapes and new collections, the fashion show took place in the stunning venue of Saphyre restaurant.
The event began with a pop, courtesy of the sparkling champagne reception as guests were treated to a perusal of Kris Turnbull’s newest luxury home décor collections. Guests then made their way to Saphyre restaurant where they were welcomed to afternoon tea and canapés.
The fabulous Zoe Salmon, adorned in her Tahlia- the ‘Zoe’ jacket, welcomed the guests with her familiar charm and wit as she introduced the launch of the Tahlia brand…’and without further ado, let’s start the show!’
Models Tori Shaw, Chloe Scott (the face of Tahlia) and Katherine Maroney (Elaine Dobson’s sister) all did a brilliant job at gracefully catwalking around the restaurant, stopping along the way to let guests take photos, feel and ask questions about the jackets. It was truly a celebration of the new local brand, which sources its premium lambskin leather from British and Irish farms. Their hair was perfectly styled in voluminous curls by local professional hair stylist Gemma Managh which complimented their elegant makeup, applied by professional makeup artist Emma Hanna.
Even after the show, guests stayed behind to try on the jackets and scarves and to talk to Elaine Dobson, the director of the new company, to find out how the jackets could be the newest addition to their winter wardrobe. One lucky guest also won the afternoon’s competition to win a Tahlia cosmetic purse, which was announced by Zoe.
The lovely bloggers Lynne (@adayinthelifeofamumof6) and Wendie Gregg (@lurganista) were also in attendance and seemed to have a wonderful time. Wendie later posted on Instagram: ‘the afternoon tea, Saphyre restaurant and champagne where fabulous, Zoe Salmon was an amazing MC, a truly beautiful event! I wish the Dobson family nothing but success, thank you for a wonderful day and go have a look online guys at the leather goods!’

It was truly an exciting, fabulous and busy launch which everyone in Tahlia was proud to be a part of. At the end of the day, the team were grateful for their luxury aromatherapy Temple Spa products which Victoria Gordon generously provided for the gift bags, the perfect treat after a busy day!
